Always treat your fine jewellery with lots of love and care. All By Baby jewellery is created with great care and skill, so your pieces can last a lifetime if you treat them right.
You can wear your By Baby jewellery every day! We do recommend that you remove all your jewellery while sleeping, exercising or playing sport. While this piece can be worn in water, we don’t recommend that you swim or bathe while wearing your pearl jewellery.
Pearls are softer and more sensitive than other gemstones, so you need to treat them with extra care. They can be worn every day, just be aware of your pearl and avoid knocking or dropping it on hard surfaces. Also avoid any chemicals near or on your pearl as they are porous and substances like perfumes, hand creams and chlorinated water may damage them.
Clean by polishing gently with a lint-free cloth, such as a lens cloth or silver / gold jewellery cloth. Do not use a homemade or store-bought jewellery cleaning solution on your pearls.
We offer complimentary cleaning and polishing at our James Street studio! And we encourage you to return as often as you like! It also means that while cleaning, we can check your pearl setting for wear and tear. You can send your piece/s to us or visit us in store during trading hours. For more information about our complimentary cleaning service, call (07) 3852 4555, text 0468 911 011 or email email@example.com.
