Wear & Care
To ensure the longevity of your ring, we recommend removing it during sleep, workouts, or playing sport. Although this ring is water-friendly, we don’t recommend you swim while wearing your emerald jewellery. If you do decide to wear your ring while swimming, please be mindful that your fingers may shrink when in cold water.
While you can wear your emerald ring every day, it’s important to remember emeralds are more delicate than other gems, requiring extra care. Avoid extreme temperature changes, like using a hot hand dryer after cold water. Keep your emerald ring away from chemicals, perfumes, hand creams, and chlorinated water. It’s best to remember emeralds, like all gemstones can be vulnerable to hard knocks, or being dropped on hard surfaces.
Cleaning
Like all gemstones, emeralds can become dull from daily wear. Regular professional cleaning is the key to maintaining their vibrant colour. In between professional cleans, you can gently polish your emerald using a lint-free lens or jewellery cloth. Do not use a homemade or store-bought jewellery cleaning solution on your emerald jewellery.
